My second project was to create a brake bracket using Inventor, Fusion 360, and the mill in the lab. I learned how to use the mill to cut objects out of materials just like the router, and also went more in depth with some of the tools in Fusion 360 like showing where the mill where to cut in 3D rather them 2D like the maze and also Inventor.
Step By Step:
First I created my Brake Bracket in the program Inventor, here is a picture of my finished Brake Bracket in Inventor.
Then I put the finished Brake Bracket into the software Fusion 360, and then designated where the Mill will cut when I get down to the machine. Here is a picture of my Brake Bracket in Fusion.
Then I went down to the machine and had the mill cut out the brake bracket. Here is a picture of me getting it ready to print.
